Hi there! My name is Ashleigh, but you can call me Ash 😉
My journey into naturopathy began, like it does for many people in the healing professions, through my own experience with chronic health challenges.
Over the years, I experienced a number of complex health issues, including SIBO, IBS, gastritis, PCOS, endometriosis and adenomyosis. I found that while conventional medicine had an important role to play in my care, it didn’t always provide me with the answers or solutions I was looking for. I reached a point where I knew I needed to take a more active role in understanding my health and exploring what else might be contributing to the way I was feeling.
At the time, I had two young children, and I was determined to get well- not just for myself, but so that I could be fully present for them.
My healing journey was anything but straightforward. I explored energy healing, herbal medicine, nutritional therapies and a range of complementary approaches, while working with different practitioners along the way. Eventually, as my health began to improve, I enrolled in my first degree in natural health.

That was the beginning of a much bigger journey!
As my health continued to improve, my curiosity about the human body, natural medicine and the deeper reasons behind illness only grew. I went on to complete my second degree in naturopathic medicine, and I haven’t looked back since.

What my own healing taught me
Perhaps the most valuable thing my health journey gave me was a different perspective on what it means to be well.
I began to understand how interconnected everything is – digestion, inflammation, nutrition, hormones, stress, sleep, nervous system regulation, our environment and even the way we relate to ourselves and the people around us.
I also learned that healing isn’t simply about finding the right supplement or eliminating the right food. Sometimes it means looking honestly at the bigger picture and asking what needs to change.
For me, making changes to my diet and lifestyle, supporting my body nutritionally, addressing inflammation and learning to regulate my nervous system were all important pieces of the puzzle. Just as importantly, developing a deeper spiritual practice and sense of purpose helped me reconnect with myself and my life in a much more meaningful way.
Over time, I found that when my body, mind and life began to feel more aligned, my health began to change too.
How I work with you
Today, I come to my practice not only as a trained naturopath, but as someone who has personally experienced many of the health challenges that my patients are navigating.
I know that healing isn’t always linear. I know what it’s like to feel frustrated, unheard or overwhelmed by your own body. And I know how valuable it can be to have a knowledgeable practitioner beside you who can help make sense of the pieces and guide you through the process.
My role isn’t to tell you that there is one perfect way to be healthy. It’s to listen, investigate, educate and work alongside you to understand what your body may be asking for.
I take a holistic approach to health, combining evidence-informed naturopathic medicine with an appreciation for the mind-body connection and, where it feels appropriate for the individual, spirituality and deeper questions of meaning and purpose.
I believe that science and spirituality don’t have to exist in separate worlds. There is enormous value in understanding the biology of the body while also recognising that we are whole human beings with emotions, experiences, relationships, beliefs and a sense of purpose that can all influence how we experience health.

So, whether you are struggling with your gut, hormones, inflammation, energy, or simply feel that something isn’t quite right, I’m here to help you make sense of it.
I’ll be your guide when things feel confusing, your teacher when you want to understand the why, your advocate when you need someone in your corner, and your cheerleader when the progress feels slow.
Most importantly, I’ll listen.
You know your body better than anyone. My job is to help you understand it a little better, too!
